CORIANDER

Coriander is cultivated in the countries of India, Russia, Balgaria, Hungary, Polland, Pakistan and Rumania.In India; it is cultivated in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan. In Gujarat, it is cultivated in Mehsana and Banaskantha districts. Coriander is generally grown surrounding the big cities to meet the requirement of green leaves locally known as kothmir.

  • Coriander leaves and seeds both contain antioxidents. It is used as condiments.
